Kajabi Virtual Meetup Terms & Conditions

Notice of Recording and Release

Kajabi, LLC, a California limited liability company, will be hosting a Virtual Meetup Event (the “Meetup”) in which I would like to participate. By participating in the Meetup, I acknowledge that I have been informed that I may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. By signing up for participation in this Meetup, I understand that Kajabi will be recording the Meetup and using such recording (the “Recording”) for its advertising, marketing, promotion, and other business purposes. I further acknowledge and agree that Kajabi will use and publicize the Recording and my name, likeness, voice, and other personal characteristics for its advertising, marketing, promotion, and other business purposes. In exchange for the intangible value I will gain by participating in the Meetup and in Kajabi’s publicity program, I give Kajabi my permission for such publicity purposes according to this Notice of Recording and Release (this “Release”).

Further, by participating in the Meetup, I grant my irrevocable consent to Kajabi, its successors, assigns, and licensees to include my name, likeness, photographic image, mannerisms, and voice in the Recording, to be exploited for any purpose whatsoever in any and all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the universe in perpetuity.

All photographs, film, or video footage, or other audio or video recordings of the Recording, and any works derived therefrom, shall be the sole property of Kajabi and I waive any and all rights of publicity, privacy, or other rights therein. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I further waive any and all rights to bring an action at law or equity related to the Recording against Kajabi, its successors, assigns, and licensees, and release them from any and all liability whatsoever related to the Meetup and the Recording.

I represent and warrant to Kajabi that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and I have full right, power, and authority to enter into this Release and grant the rights hereunder. This Release constitutes the sole and entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter contained herein. Kajabi may assign this Release and its rights hereunder, in whole or in part, to any party. If any term or provision of this Release is found invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect any other provision. All matters arising out of or relating to this Release shall be governed by the laws of California without giving effect to any choice of law provision. Any claim or cause of action arising out of this Release shall be brought only in the federal and state courts located in Orange County, California, and I hereby irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

THIS RELEASE PROVIDES KAJABI WITH THE ABSOLUTE AND UNCONDITIONAL CONSENT, WAIVER, ADN RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ALLOWING KAJABI TO PUBLICIZE AND COMMERCIALLY EXPLOIT YOUR NAME LIKENESS, AND OTHER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AS SET OUT ABOVE. BY ACCEPTING THESE TERMS AND PARTICIPATING IN THE MEETUP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS RELEASE.
